Weather Stations
Description
Serve-Ag distributes MEA (Measurement Engineering Australia) weather stations. These systems provide cable free continuous monitoring of all weather conditions.
Weather Stations are built according to the grower’s individual requirements and can comprise of a number of different sensors. Comminication is either via onsite download, digital cellular phone or by telemetry. The MEA weather station has alarm facilities.
The sensors that can be connected to create a weather station include:
- Rainfall
- Temperature
- Relative humidity
- Leaf wetness
- Wind speed
- Wind direction
- Solar (global) radiation
- Soil temperature
- Barometric pressure
- Gypsum blocks
The MEA weather station uses Magpie software to assist in data maanagement. This technology also has applications for direct warning calls to your phone or faxed to your home / office in the event of such critical events.
