Seed Evaluation and Screening
New varieties from key National and International seed companies, in vegetable, turf and pasture seed are trialled and evaluated for suitability to Tasmanian conditions and grower requirements.
In field screening of breeding lines is conducted under field conditions using accepted agronomic inputs so that evaluations relate as closely as possible to industry standards.
