Serve-Ag Pty Ltd utilises the services of Agricultural Resource Management which has an alliance with Bill Chilvers (Chilvers Consulting) a soil management and surveying consultant. Bill Chilvers has had considerable experience of soil surveying, particularly in Tasmania. He has spent four and a half years with the Department of Primary Industries as an Extension Officer in soil conservation management and was responsible for developing and extending soil management guidelines across the state. Work completed by Serve-Ag Pty Ltd and Chilvers Consulting Services combines a unique blend of skills with in excess of 40 soil surveys covering approximately 60,000 hectares already completed in Tasmania.
Soil surveys conducted by Serve-Ag can be tailored to meet your needs. Our team is experienced in intensive grid surveys using soil pits for intensive horticultural development to broadacre whole farm surveys ideal for irrigation development and whole farm planning.
Farm Mapping can be used to illustrate soil types and topography.
